Job Type: Full Time- Three 12hr shifts and one-half day (Wed (half day) Thur, Fri, Sat)
Pay: $15.50-$16.50 hourly
Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dietary/Laundry Aide to join our team at Trinity Memory Care. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents by providing quality dietary services and maintaining cleanliness in the laundry department. This position requires a multitasker who is committed to delivering high standards of hygiene, food service, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
Dietary Aide:- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary guidelines and resident preferences.- Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.- Help with menu planning and ensure adherence to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards during food handling and preparation.- Maintain inventory of food supplies and report shortages or necessary replenishments to the dietary manager.- Assist in washing dishes and kitchen utensils, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.- Provide compassionate service to residents, responding to their needs and preferences during meals.
Laundry Aide:- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and residents' personal clothing.- Ensure proper handling of laundry to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer’s recommendations.- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring supplies and inventory are stocked.- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the laundry supervisor.- Assist with sorting and distributing clean linens and resident clothing throughout the facility.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.- Previous experience in dietary or laundry services in a healthcare or hospitality setting is a plus.- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Compassionate and respectful demeanor towards residents and their families.- Ability to lift and carry laundry loads and stand for extended periods.
